STARKVILLE, Miss.—ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ State is recognizing 19 students from ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas, and India who are leaders of the university’s orientation programs that begin next week.
Working with the Office of Orientation and Events, ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ Orientation Leaders provide assistance and share their knowledge of the 144-year-old land-grant institution with incoming freshman students and transfers—and their families—during each of the school year’s many information and registration sessions.
Selected from nearly 60 applicants, Orientation Leaders participate in a rigorous screening process to earn this distinction. In preparation for orientation sessions and events, these leaders take a concentrated course that prepares them to welcome the newest members of the Bulldog family to campus.
