Trailblazing NYSE trader to speak Thursday as part of Seal Distinguished Speaker Series
Lauren Simmons, the youngest female and second-ever African American woman to work as a trader at the New York Stock Exchange, will give a presentation to the ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ State community Thursday [March 18] as part of the Leo W. Seal Jr. Distinguished Speaker Series.
The event will be held in the Colvard Student Union’s Foster Ballroom at 7 p.m. Simmons’ speech will be open to the public, but attendance will be limited. Students are asked to RSVP on Cowbell Connect.
Thursday’s speech is sponsored by the ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ Student Association, the College of Business and the college’s Diversity Dawgs, Department of Finance and Economics and College of Business Ambassadors.
